The Shinning One

Baldur is the Allfather of the gods, and he is the shinning god of Light, Beauty, and Necessary War. He is the invulnerable god that stands against those who would seek to plunge the world back into chaos. Baldur's tenets teach that the truly strong don't need to prove their power, but should be steadfast against all doubt. Baldur's strength is a spiritual strength, opposed to physical strength. His strength is the power of will and hope, the need to confront evil in the face of insurmountable odds. Baldur is wrathful against the forces of evil and darkness, whoever they may be. However, his followers are urged to remember that excessive attention to things of evil can blind one to the truly important things: compassion and goodness.

In his avatar and religious artworks, Baldur is portrayed as a tall Half-Aasimar man with tanned skin, short hair and beard, golden like the rays of the sun, and his eyes emanate a warm golden light. He is often shown wearing a gold embroidered tunic and pants, as well as a gold circlet and torcs around his arms. He is never depicted carrying any weapons.

Strong and capable leaders are there to illuminate a path forward for their people. When all might seem lost, and hopelessness creeps into the minds of the meek, one must always stand steadfast to banish that darkness, and allow their people to carry on.

There will always be difficulty in life, in order to overcome your hardships you must be resolute enough to face whatever lies before you. Seek to understand the challenges you are faced with, and with a calm head and heart, you will overcome them.

All life in the cosmos has value; from the smallest field mouse, to the largest creature of the sea. We must show respect to those around us, for all the strongest bonds are formed when there is mutual respect given and received.
