The Lost Creation

There was once to be nine great races of Reliah. Ninth in creation, and most glorious of all was to be Dragons. The last of the nameless gods of creation was beginning to shape them when she down by the betrayer. She did not finish her creation but her eight sisters poured the last breath of their creation into hers to bring it as close to life as they could hope.
Dragons are a rare creature. They live between the folds of creation itself as incomplete forms. They are forever in a state between existence and nothingness and cannot move from it. They can be seen as spirits on Reliah. They can and do even speak to people, passing on fragments of their endless knowledge fractured from time and space. Dragons can shape magic and are sometimes even talented casters in their own right but cannot interact with the physical world itself.

Dragons are massive and snake-like in shape and often have horns, manes, glowing eyes.

Dragons can perceive everywhere and everything all at once in addition in everywhen. While this perception through all of reality is possible, it is beyond comprehension or explanation to mortal beings.
