Wildspace

Wildspace is an umbrella term for any place within a crystal sphere that is located outside the atmosphere of a planet. Gravity in wildspace is either nonexistent or the same as it is on Earth, being directed toward the center of planet-sized bodies and a flat plane on the long axis of other large objects (which is why characters are able to stand on the decks of ships).
Wildspace does not include the phlogiston, which is located outside the crystal spheres.
