The Dangerous Idiot Rathenlok Gehénnam Gelling (a.k.a. Rath)
A scholar from the Jewel Arcanum, Rath's number one favorite past time is gathering knowledge. He was admitted into the school thanks to his innate affinity for magic, though his natural talents were lacking compared to his peers. What did did excel in, however, was the art of charisma. Using this to his advantage, Rath managed to worm his way into the restricted sections of the academy's library where he found tomes describing a ritual for gaining magic and knowledge in exchange for a price. Ignoring the warning signs, Rath managed to make contact with a powerful fiend who didn't hesitate to make a deal with the young scholar. In exchange for taking his soul, Rath was granted powerful magical abilities and the knowledge to use them. Not long after, both parties began to realize that the deal wasn't what they expected. Rath, being a coward and lacking in common sense, often enraged his patron who's punishments in turn enraged Rath. He now seeks to find a way to win his soul back by any means possible, and he'll lie, cheat, and Eldritch Blast his way through in order to do so.
