Kipan

Kipan is mysterious to most realms and likes to keep it that way. But despite this fact, its culture is remarkably beautiful. Nigawa, or the long river, goes through the entirety of kipan and is used as a good source of water and transportation, even all the way in the northern region. It is said that long ago before SKYFALL, there was a man named Ki, who lived his life wandering the world, until he came across a beautiful river, and as he was exploring this river he came across a yokai who had tried to kill him, but after defeating the beast it had turned into a beautiful maiden. The two fell in love and settled next to the river. Many years went by and the couple had turned into a family of seven. But one night, ki had a dream that he stood in front of the gods within the heavens. “Why have you summoned me?” Ki said. the gods replied, “You Ki did not just stumble upon this river by accident, it is your lineage's destiny to establish and rule over this entire river.” So when Ki woke up the next morning, he and his family traveled up and down the river establishing villages and going on adventures. By the time Ki died, he had left a whole civilization behind him. All of kipan is separated into three regions, the Minkaishu, the Kitasunashu, and the Todani. The Minkaishu, or southern sea district, is closest to the sea and its food consists of fish and rice. With its boats built for sea travel they sometimes explore the western half of Thalkura. The Kitasunashu, or the northern sand district, despite the nigawa river going through it still mostly consists of sand and dessert. Despite this, it still is quite lush next to the river and provides enough food for entire cities. Their boats are mainly for traveling up and down the river instead of out to sea. The Todani, or eastern hills, mainly consist of exactly that, peaceful hills.
