Fjellgellum
Geography
The difficult and steep topography of the Fjell mountains has long been a roadblock. Mountain passes, on the other hand, have functioned as communication linkages connecting otherwise isolated valleys since Celtic times, and they have evolved from simple pathways to paved, multilane highways. Settlements like Savaga in eastern Gormburg, which serves as a hub for the region's various passes, have been inhabited for almost 200 years. In the same way, Stonerun in central Gormburg expanded.
Fauna & Flora
Linden, oak, beech, poplar, elm, chestnut, mountain ash, birch, and Lirathal maple are among the deciduous trees that flourish on the valley bottoms and lower slopes. However, at higher elevations, the majority of the forest is coniferous, with spruce, larch, and a variety of pine species as the dominant species. In the Western Fjell, spruce dominance reaches an upper limit of about 7,200 feet. Larch can grow as high as 8,200 feet and is intermingled with spruce at lower levels, making it more resistant to cold, lack of moisture, and severe winds. Hardy species such as the Arolla pine grow in the forest's upper borders, where they don't usually grow.
