"Celestial of Waters" Glacio Alsius

Once the first Celestial of Waters, Glacio protected the Glacial Island, and the waters of Eldoria, during the first waves of the Corrupt invasion. However, she could not remain for long, her Essence failing her to keep watch of the waters throughout the entire realm. Glacio was like a student to Ignis, and looked up to him. Glacio is highly caring, acting like a motherly figure to those she wishes to feel close to. Above all else, Glacio sought to protect Ignis’s wishes, Eldoria’s waters, and Vertex's future.

Physical Description

Identifying Characteristics

Glacio has a long, slender body which towers high, with deep blue scales and cerulean-blue spikes and fins across her body. She has no wings, has a finned tail, and two upper fangs which poke out slightly. Glacio has a small neck-frill, no horns, and has four legs. Her scales naturally have ice coating most of it.

Special abilities

Being the Celestial of Waters allows Glacio to wield immense power over water and ice, being able to manipulate both to any degree at will. The ice covering parts of her scales is sturdier than an average dragon's scales and can even dampen the impact of explosions. Her presence alone can cool the surrounding area or freeze it. She often will create herself a path through the air using either water or ice, to swim/walk/slide.

Personal history

Glacio stood as one of the first Celestials of Eldoria, having fought alongside Ignis as close friends, although feeling more like a student when with him, to seal the first Corruption outbreak. Unfortunately her Essence was weak, but she was safe from that risk, living alone on the Glacial Island she created, to watch over Eldoria’s waters. She could not remain long due to her weakness though, but thanks to how difficult it initially was for the Corrupt to find her island, she was able to enter the Celestial Orb at a rather early stage. Residing in the Celestial Orb, she caught wind of another Great Serpent Dragon - Vertex - and chose to watch over her ever since her earliest days.  She would wait for years, for a moment where a chance would arise, to pass on the torch to Vertex and let her take her place.

Glacio enjoys watching Vertex's growth, and takes great joy in spending time alone. She appreciates company from time to time, but dislikes feeling overwhelmed.
