Alterion Falsana (a.k.a. Alty)

Alterion Falsana is the older brother to Nazarim Falsana and is a seasoned hunter who also has an interest in Affinities branching from the Nox Affinity. Alterion is light-hearted and carefree most of the time, especially around friends, but can be serious and non-joking when the need arises. Being super chill, not much really bothers him to the point of mattering. Alterion also has an undying love for instant noodles. He is an acolyte of the King of Blades; a god of judgement and execution non-native to Eldoria. When in his Bladesman form, Alterion becomes ruthless, vicious, and blood-thirsty, although it still retains his mind, and it avoids attacking those that retreat or are not at fault.

Physical Description

Identifying Characteristics

Alterion wears a brown, hooded leather vest over a long-sleeve, dark green shirt, and brown pants. He has some hardened leather vambraces and wears a leather belt with various throwing knives and a one-handed long sword strapped to it. He has a bow a head shorter than himself, worn on a nail catch on his back. His quiver is clipped from behind on his belt. Alterion also wears a pair of thick-soled leather boots.
In his Bladesman form, Alterion becomes a black, shadowy figure of a hooded man with a pure white sadistic smile, as if it were wearing a mask with no eyes. The shadows seem to shimmer and twist like water in a stream, except it reflects no light and instead swallows it whole. Its fingers and feet are tapered to points, and it's constantly surrounded by black blades that look as if they were made from obsidian. It holds a sword of pure light, but it seems to not shine, and instead it has the same effect as the creature itself.

Special abilities

Alterion wields the Telumancy Key Affinity, as well as an ability which allows him to create gateways at will; either to locations that he has been to beforehand, or to Nazarim. Alterion is greatly attuned to the Nox Base Affinity. He can summon swords and knives in his hands, and he has deadly accuracy with his bow and knives. The King of Blades has also bestowed a portion of his power to Alterion, granting him access to the Bladesman form. This form gives him great speed, agility, strength, resilience, and the Ability to control his summoned blades through the air, all at the cost of this form being ruthless and vicious. His Bladesman form also wields a longsword, and a larger bow made of light, which can shoot spears from it.

Personal history

Throughout his research in an old cabin he lived in with Nazarim, Alterion discovered proof of the cabin originally belonging to a realm jumper not from Eldoria, who was also faithful to a god known as the King of Blades. All that proof was written in a tome, and by devoting himself to that tome, Alterion was chosen as an acolyte of the King of blades. One day, on a hunting trip, Nazarim was ambushed by Corrupt, and fell down a cliff. He was mortally wounded, and in a last-ditch attempt to save his brother, Alterion used what he had learned from that tome to forcefully send Nazarim’s soul into the body of his pet Timber Wolf, which succeeded, but also led the King of Blades to choose Nazarim as another acolyte. After that incident, they left their home in search of a new life, and they were later found and employed by the forest guardian, Vuryth, as Jade Guardians.
