The Helsing Clinic of Vampiric Thrall Rehabilitation often called "Helsing's Clinic", is a medical facility located in Arkham, MA that provides care for victims of vampiric feeding.

Helsing's Clinic was founded alongside the Arkham branch of the RDP in the 1950s by Professor Abraham Van Helsing. Professor Helsing was an expert in the study of Vampirism and created the clinic to help victims of vampire attacks who became thralls to vampiric feeding.

Thrall is the term for an individual that becomes addicted to vampire saliva, which is injected into the bloodstream during feeding. Vampires often use thralls as a steady source of sustenance and/or as minions that do the vampire's bidding to be fed upon in exchange. Some vampires are even known to have formed cults around themselves and grant their worshippers their saliva.

Professor Helsing sought to lessen the impact of these cults and cut the feeding supply of vampires down. This was achieved while simultaneously helping countless victims of vampire attacks.

Today, the RDP uses Helsing's Clinic to help survivors of vampire attacks to overcome their addiction to vampire saliva. Upon completion of our program patients often have their memory altered from the traumatic experience they suffered to keep the supernatural world a secret. To prevent further feeding a general distrust of vampire-like individuals is imprinted upon the patients before they are returned home. A common memory alteration is that the victim went on vacation. This memory alteration is aided by the luxurious conditions we place patients in.

The RDP also helps in the upbringing of any dhampirs that may result from the union of a vampire and their thrall. This is a fairly common experience of many thralls. Dhampir children who are born at Helsing's Clinic, or are found during investigations, are placed in one of our child-rearing facilities to become functioning members of society and maybe someday join the RDP.

Unfortunately, due to the RDP's decreased budget, not every thrall can be admitted to Helsing's Clinic. Applications must be submitted with the sponsorship of an RDP agent to determine eligibility. Any case of addiction to vampire saliva by an RDP agent is considered a top priority.

The mission of Helsing's Clinic is to help survivors of vampire attacks overcome their addiction to vampiric feeding and to provide care for any dhampirs that may come from the union of a vampire and a human.
