Path of Slaughter Profession in Ravare | World Anvil

Path of Slaughter

Subclass Summary

Your rage not only overwhelms you but also warps the way the world appears around you. Friend and foe alike appear as fragile sacks of flesh ripe for the butcher's block. As your body becomes drenched in blood and viscera your rage only grows, granting you manic powers over this new world of meat.

Sheep to the Slaughter

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can now sense the presence of creatures weaker than yourself. Once on your turn while you are raging, you may inspect a creature as a bonus action to determine if they have less hit points than you currently.
If the creature has less hit points than you they are marked for the slaughter, giving you advantage on all attacks towards that creature. You may only have one creature marked this way at a time. The mark ends when the creature has more hit points than you or if your rage ends.

Butcher's Harvest

Upon reaching 6th level, you have learned how to truly butcher your foes. When you reduce a creature marked for the slaughter to 0 hit points you gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier + your Barbarian level (minimum of 1 temporary hit point).

Rip and Tear

Starting at 10th level, while raging you see the world as just meat to be torn apart piece by piece. You gain the following benefits:
  • Your hit point maximum increases by an amount equal to twice your level when you gain this feat. Whenever you gain a level thereafter, your hit point maximum increases by an additional 2 hit points.
  • When you reduce a creature marked for the slaughter to 0 hit points you may attempt to mark a new target as a free action.

Wall of Meat

At 14th level, when you rage you are able to grow in size to overcome your foes. When you enter a rage, your size increases by one category. Your physical size doubles in all dimensions and your weight is multiplied by eight.
Additionally, you can now mark any creature for slaughter that is a size smaller than you and you may have up to three creatures marked for slaughter at a time.
