Chill on the Wind
General Summary
The party delved deeper below Lock's Fathom, finding a strange series of ancient dwarven mines. In exploring the area, they found themselves beset by a group of Duergar who seemed to be plumbling the space for something unknown. A battle ensued as the Duergar fell upon them, but through some tactful planning, they were able to defeat the cruel beings.
The hole the Duergar had dug here seemed to lead down to an even more ancient space, some sort of ancient train station. An equally ancient train sat derailed upon the nearby tracks. The group decided it would be best to investigate for treasure. In their investigation however, they uncovered a terrible being: a Gloom. This Gloom hunted them down, desperately trying to devour them. Once again, through tactful planning, the group banished the creature, before setting up a powerful round of combat to quickly cripple and destroy the Gloom. Injured and horrified, they retired to an ancient dormitory in the train station.
