Crusader Bands

Crusader Bands, or Crusader Companies, are military units that serve under the Sollrai Army but operate more independently. They are often smaller and more elite groups of soldiers who work as an extension to the army. They are lead by their Commander and Captains, who in turn obey the Sollrai High Command.
These bands are treated as more of elite and special forces and are often sent on important missions when they are not fighting alongside the army.

History

Crusader Bands have been a long tradition of the Sollrai, stretching all the way back to the Wars in Hald.

Active companies:

• Trueheart Crusaders
-Lead by Eriya Trueheart. Currently the largest and most famous band with a strength of 3000 warriors.
• Shieldbreakers
  
-Lead by the Twin Shields: Idrien and Idria Shielder. The 2nd most famous of the crusader bands with a strength of 2000 warriors.
• Stary Companions
-Lead by Rycirier Stary. Is about the same size as the Shieldbreakers of 2000 warriors but is less famous.

Historical companies:

• The Dawnbringers
Formerly lead by Eryk Dawn before he became the Patriarch of Soll. It was the most famous crusader band during the Great Invasion. After the invasion was repelled and Eryk was chosen as the successor of Patriarch Eldrak Blader and the Dawnbringers were turned into his personal guard and became known as the Dawnguard.
