Blathanaviir

The ancient woods of Blathanaviir are the largest body of woods in the Emerald Coast region. It is full of different kinds of flora and fauna, both mundane and magical. Blathanaviir, in the elven language means "Emerald Forest," named such for the emeralds found in the region known as the Emerald Coast, as well as the lush, almost iridescent green that dominates the palate of these woods.
The Emerald Forest is inhabited most notably by wood-elves, whose clan seat is the city of Ghadyn Thara.

Geography

Blathanaviir is a forest in the Emerald Coast region nestled in the northern foothills of the Kraggen Mountains. It is sometimes considered an extension of the much larger forest on the other side of the mountains in the Dale Lands region due to their cultural similarities.
Many streams flow through the forest before converging into the two main rivers of the Emerald Coast region and continue on to the Emerald Sea.
