Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Quite thin and somewhat stooped over.

Body Features

Tall and broad shouldered, like his Gredoran kin. His skin falls a few shades lighter than the purest of Gredoran bloodlines, and combine with his wavier hair, dense eyebrows and lashes to complete the picture of his Narscilian heritage.

Facial Features

Defined and chiseled, as though it were carved out of marble. Much like the unmoving, emotionless expression that usually paints his features. His hair remains wild and hangs into his face.

Identifying Characteristics

Cassio's purple eyes, whether they be dull or sparkling, are an easy identifying feature.

His aura is also one that requires no divination to read, as it is quite literally constantly radiating out from him. The tie he has to music is so great, that it has somehow manifested around him constantly, to a point where anyone who focuses on him can hear a song forming in their own mind, one painted by their current perception of Cassio. The more they listen to the notes, the more they end up learning about the Donums his circuits tap into.

Physical quirks

On some days, he will sit perfectly still and silently for hours on end, usually with his eyes closed and his earmuffs on.

When he gets excessively nervous, he fidgets. Usually twisting his rings, plucking randomly at instrument without paying attention to it, or habitually scratching the back of his head. Something is probably really off if he's doing this.

Special abilities

Incredible intelligence and creepy mind powers that he continues to develop in unique and concerning ways. This extends into power over illusions, and the fabric of darkness, sometimes combining these with his intense understanding of magic to conjure up innovative and quite realistic effects.

Apparel & Accessories

Cassio prefers to sport loose-fitting Narscilian shirts, and is usually seen in either looser Narscilian pants or the tighter-fitting Gredoran leathers. Comfort and subtle style, with a touch of risque.

He is rarely seen without a customized gadget around his neck, modeled after the Arborian tool which he uses to place around his ears to block out noise. He calls them "earmuffs".

Cassio's also wears an excessive amount of jewelry. Rings, necklaces, bracelets, bead strings, from all over the world. They are always in the same order, and he hardly ever takes them off. Every piece has it's own little story.

Personal history

Cassio's history of subterfuge and lies seems a blur to him now since he met Viggo and Taiga, and became reaquainted with Sebastian and Benedict. So many pieces of a life that doesn't fit so well with itself. It doesn't make much sense.

Over time he's been forced to open up a little more with these allies he's managed to grow closer with. He'll always be a secretive one - there's no need to play your cards until they're relevant. But his time with them is rubbing off in more than a few ways. There's an emphasis on "honesty" among them...

Education

Very good, and very diverse. He was intelligent enough to grasp many subjects quickly, and to move through information at an alarming rate. He speaks every language known to mankind, and somehow was able to study some from even before that.

Accomplishments & Achievements

• Magical and mental genius.
• Perfect memory recall. Cassio can selectively remember things he reads, hears, sees, experiences well enough that he can revisit those moments and pick out details he missed before.
• Cassio has an extreme obsession with music, and can play any instrument he comes across at a mastery from competent to virtuostic.
• Cassio's rising mastery of his own mind is one he revels in most of all, many accomplishments he keeps to himself most of the time.
• He is fairly confident he has pushed the boundaries of what is known to be magically possible, particularly when it comes to the dream world and the realms of memory and consciousness beyond.
• Cassio has flawlessly stolen a book from the restricted section of the House Wing library under the fearsome Urshu's instructed watch
• Managed to keep good control of his own situation while the Princess of Anidine claimed to take him as a servant.
• Remained under cover and suspicion as a very secret agent under some very watchful eyes, gaining much tightly guarded information.
• Successfully infiltrated a dangerous enemy fortress over a dragon's lair where he learned valuable information, stole artifacts, sowed dissent, and killed a handful of agents. While remaining completely unidentified, and almost completely undetected.

Failures & Embarrassments

• His "fight" with the upperclassmen on everyone's first official day at Academia Dracos ended with him going down immediately to an ice blast to the back
• He has lost to Sebastian once or twice in Alhijara, though they overwhelmingly more often end in ties. He has never won against his father.
• Viggo somehow got him to play a sport.
• His entrance exams were not the highest marks in the history of Academia Dracos.
• Any nasty surprise that he feels he should have been smart enough to see coming.
• He blames himself for the absence of his mother.
• He is very physically weak. Most of the time it doesn't bother him, unless he's confronted about it or restricted by it.

Mental Trauma

• There seems to be some link to Cassio and Prisca in his past.
• Almost immediately after he was forced to run from the academy, he was nearly killed by attacking creatures he never saw coming. He's fully aware that Benedict saved his life.
• Many scars manifested in many strange ways.

Morality & Philosophy

Once he was apathetic. Resigned.
Now he's confused.
With his set of powers, life can almost be anything he wants it to be. And that's how he's liked it. But his life keeps getting influenced by things he can't control.
And he's seen people living now, to their fullest extent. He's been with people in their highs and lows, and is learning what true dimension life has to it.
As of right now, that control is something he desires very deeply. When he can't make things go his way, he relieves some of that pent-up frustration with jokes and tricks. Something to entertain himself, or to make a small thing go in a way that he wants it to.
Most people can't get a good read on him, and that pushes a lot of them away. He's no good at convincing them to stay.
The only way he can really express himself well is through his music. He doesn't share it with people most of the time, it's just been for him. But he knows that music can bridge incredible gaps, for if there's one language that everyone can understand... it's Gredoran.
Oh wait, no, it's music.
