Terhrysthen
The Terhrysthen are a people whose ancestors hail from Tethrus. They are descendent from the Tesyithen in one of the most literal matters. Terhrysthen means the dishonored sons, for these people were the former masters of the Tel-Suana empire and called themselves the Tesynthen, the honored sons. For they believed their ancient empire to be built upon the honor of their people and with its fall a great shame fell upon their people. To this day they strive to reclaim the honor of their people and fix their great shame.

Shared customary codes and values
Honor is held above all else, but family, to the Terhrysthen such to the point that in some cases honor can in some cases be held above the law. Although one's blood surpasses all else and it is not seen as odd for murder to be accepted so long as it is done to protect one's family. Their code of honor is more frequently unuttered and unwritten, an organic growth of decades and centuries of military career.
Art & Architecture
Terhrysthen love grandiose art and beauty, they consciously strive to attempt to render human and animal forms realistically and in forms that are seen as perfect and wonderfully idealistic. A painting of a shining white knight slaying a dragon could hide a reality of the events that inspired them like a dozen sell swords used to scare off a wyvern.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
It is one of the few cultures that respect mages and the arcane above all others. For a child to show magic is a great celebration for their families as for peasantry especially it means their child shall be granted a higher social position and the lowest title of nobility.
Birth & Baptismal Rites
It is customary for a boy to be given a sword at their birth. It is meant to show that all of their people must be ready to take up armors to restore their people's honor. It will also be used once the child is old enough to learn how to defend themselves and be reliant on none.
For the eldest children in a family, this will often be a sword passed down from older relatives. To not provide a sword is to bring dishonor onto but the child for failing in this duty. For extremely large families it might be needed to purchase a new sword, while such can be expensive it is often customary for blacksmiths to offer cheaper blades or loan the blade and allow the family to pay it off over years.
Common Taboos
As they are a people who hold family above all else it is a great taboo for someone to hide one's family name or identity, even if one might need to conceal their identity it brings great shame to cover up their family names and crests. Even for families who have dishonored themselves, it is considered a greater social fopa to hide that fact for it means they would rather let their families dishonor remain then fix it.
