Shared customary codes and values

They are a people who respect craftsmanship and unity. To create an item of exceptional quality with one's own hands is to show that they are strong and benefit society.

Common Etiquette rules

It is rude to now bring a handcrafted gift when visiting anyone who is not family. One does not necessarily have to gather the parts to make it so long as the final product was made by the visitor. Food is common for this reason.

Coming of Age Rites

A father will bring his son up the mountain, informing the child that he will leave his son to a mountain shine. The child must sit by the shrine for the whole night, blindfolded. The child must sit there alone the whole night without sleeping or speaking. While a thousand beasts and giants might claim the child yet he must trust that their ancestors will protect him. When dawn's first light comes they can remove their blindfold, they will find their father waiting for them, never having left and standing silent vigilance, trusting his son will not speak as his son must trust that he is protected even if they don't know it.

Common Myths and Legends

They see the gods as dead. The world was to play in a cycle of the birth, life, and death of the gods, giants, and man. In one great time of ending though the cycle was broken when mankind survived. Only the shards of the gods' and giants' soul still haunt the world becoming spirits of the land.   Mages are seen as those with the blood of giants, with one exception. Those with golden eyes, however, are said to be born with the blood of the gods.
