Larana Cyrakus was born on 15th May 1250 in Marthy, Republic of Amarntya. While her mother was an physician Laranas father worked as an clerk for the Marysa order. Already at young age Cyrakus had been fascinated to hear heroic stories about knights, mythical creatures like dragons and haunted treasures. But one thing was a thorn in her side at the age of four - Most of the stories were about males. Laras father tried to appease by searching for new stories.
With each other, her desire for more grew. She wanted to be brave as Monica or strong as Valya Moya. She wanted to be part of Pryza, a coven of sharp minded witches and fighting like archs sisters, a exclusively female unit consisting of mounted archers. Laranas parents were overwhelmed by their daughters ambitions. Both supported her without exceptions. Even when she broke into the order library at the age of ten. They found her sleeping between books and scrolls. While Laranas father was a bit mad of her, Laranas mother was secretly happy about their cunning daughter.
Her mother was the reason why Larana Cyrakus started to collect stories in the first place. Because of her profession Laranas mother had to deal with people from different cultures. Every patient had to tell a tale which Helena Cyrakus for her daughter would write down. To her fourteens birthday Larana got a small collection of various stories. This should have been the foundation stone of Convolute of Avonya and Calysa.

The leaders were so filled with hatred and desperation, their secret could be revealed, that they massacred all members. Larana could have only escaped by a hair's breadth.
