Franko de Luca is a Spanish-Italian bodyguard who works for Oliver and Jonesy Investigative Services, and is a major character in the Prohibition story. He is Oliver's personal bodyguard and part-time assistant.

Franko is large, muscular man with short, curly russet hair. He has extremely broad shoulders, a burly body and masculine fascial features. Though he often gets injured on the job, Franko is in relatively good condition.

Franko naturally talks in a passive, modulated tone: rarely raising his volume or swearing. When he is on the clock, however, he can make his voice sound very imposing and intimidating. His voice is low and husky, often cracking. De Luca's Boston accent is very clear, as he doesn't try to hide it.
