Woolly Mammoth

Intdomitable, furred elephants of the past, with massive, and majestic tusks. These were the first animals outside of dinosaurs discovered on Primordia that were from the Ice Age.

Social Structure

Typically lead by a matriarch, mammoth herds keep the young close, and often times the older members of their herd will fall behind, and fall victim to being preyed upon by predators, if this happens, other members of the herd may attempt to protect the elder mammoth, while guarding their young.

Domestication

Mammoths can be domesticated through time and care, as well as learning it's personality, very similar to a horse from Earth.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Primordians often hunt Mammoths for their pelts, tusks, milk and meat.

Facial characteristics

Long trunks hang below their tusks, and their prominent brow embodies a primal wisedom.

Mammoths have demonstrated impressive levels of intelligence, recognizing certain Primordians, and demonstrating rudementary rituals, such as mourning the dead.
