Intertidal Zones
Intertidal Zones are an umbrella term for coastlines. They can be beaches, rocky outcroppings, or cliffs.
Geography
The Intertidal zone has such a wide variety of coastlines, it's almost impossible to line them all here. But, the coastline can have sand, or stone, or in some cases, ice.
Ecosystem
The coastline will always be long, and it will have ocean scavengers, where they be terrestrial, or avian, feasting upon washed up carrion.
Ecosystem Cycles
Coastlines will typically always have a warm, or a wet season, and the temperature will always be dependent on where the coastline is.
Localized Phenomena
Ocean storms may make the coastline extremely dangerous, as waves will often wash over the coastline, and begin to flood the mainland.
Climate
Wet, with variable temperatures.
