True Faith

A religion, a philosophy, science, a political view... some people follow ideas for different reasons. Some of them may want to exalt themselves, some do it because they fear uncertainty and death, some want to place themselves above the rest, some do it to have a sense of control. But you are not one of them. You do not seek rewards or comfort, you have something that's very rare: you truly believe in that system of meanings, and that brings you spiritual harmony. This gives you an aura of peace rarely seen in these days of strife and madness, your faith is strong as an oak, but it is tempered by empathy and a keen understanding of the flawed human condition. You do not judge others quickly not lightly, but when evidence is too strong and judgement becomes unavoidable, your faith gives you strength to defeat the mighties of foes, and overcome any challenge. This does not only applies to religion, it could be philosophy, science, political views, or other worthy system of beliefs. Perhaps you follow your own belief system, or you follow the teachings of Jesus, or follow Badenach god of pain, composer of the symphony of screams... the flavor doesn't matter, you truly believe in it, and it brings you peace.
