Religion System

This system provides a framework to deal with religion in the Afterfall.
In their desperation, communities have created new religions to help them cope with their harsh lives.
These religions vary tremendously.
Some of them may be based on the religions of the Ancients. They may be offshoots, heresies or plain misinterpretations. But you could also find small communities of Methodists, Baptists, Jews or Muslims that have preserved their religions intact.
Others are completely new, and revolve around nature, fertility, ancestor worship, technology, the Ancients, war, death, human sacrifice, cannibalism, and even things that are so damn weird that seem some kind of parody.
The Creating a Religion has rules to create your own religions.

  Religions grant their followers some minor bonuses that are the result of their beliefs or their practices.
The system is based on the Faith concept, that reflects the strength of your belief in the tenets of a religion.
Each character has a secific Faith score with each religion he comes into contact.
Also, all Priests of a religion gain social interaction bonuses with the followers of that religion, proportional to the strength of the follower's faith.
