Raises
When making a Skill Roll, if the roll result exceeds the difficulty by 4, it is considered a raise.
Raises are additive. If the roll results in exceeding the difficulty by 8, it means you got 2 raises.
For every raise you get, the GM can grant some kind of additional benefits to the outcomes. However, on occasions, you need a raise to achieve something completely, or quicker.
