Jackbucks

They resemble a deer in shape and size.
They also live in grasslands and forests.
But they do not have hooves, and if you look closely, their nose and ears are closer to the ones of a jackrabbit.
They actually descend from hares, and they are everyone's favorite meal in forest and grassland environments.
They are fast runners, but not that much, and they rely on quick breeding and numerous litters for survival.
