- Investment: Barter used to buy buildings, wagons, animals, and gear you need to buy in order to have a business. Initial Investment refers to how much barter you need to spend in order to start a new business of that type from scratch. Investment is also required to expand your operations, although the details of what you buy and how need to be roleplayed.
- Monthly Salaries: How much barter you need to spend on wages each month, to pay your staff (and yourself).
- Monthly Operations: How much barter you need to spend each month in materials, supplies, tools, paying rents, tribute, bribes and so on.
- Monthly Costs: The sum of monthly salaries and monthly operations.
- Monthly Income: How much barter enters your coffers due to sales, rents, or whatever you do to get barter.
- Net Monthly Profits: Monthly Income - Monthly Costs.
- Risk: Probability that you get an Emergent Issue when you reach Balance at the end of the month.
