Biterglider

Huge carnivore bats, with a 2 m wingspan.
Their maws are filled with shark-like teeth. Their sight is as sharp as an eagle's, their sense of smell is great. They can navigate using earth's magnetic field, and they still reatin echolocation.
They are active both during the day and during night. Their sleeping patterns are adapted depending on what kind of prey is available in the surroundings. They usually feed on small reptiles, mammals and insects, and also carrion.
However, they are also notorious for landing over a big animal, biting a chunk of meat off and flying away.
This will most likely result in an Fleshrot infection (see Disease) capable of killing you within days. During your agony, they will glide in circles just above you, waiting for you to be weak enough to be eaten alive.
