Holy Qaddir Empire

The Holy Qaddir Empire is a complex political union of several states in Northern Septentrio, founded by qaddirii but constituted mostly of diverse southern and central Hatartan tribes.   The empire grew out of Enedsari, a successor of the Western Valguric Empire, and the residents explicitly proclaimed themselves as descendants of the Valgurics and the empire itself as a continuation of the former’s glory and teachings; working under the doctrine of “transfer of rule" via a succession of singular rulers vested with supreme power, inherited by the Valgurics.   The territories making up the Empire lay predominantly in the Hatartan Peninsula within the northern half of Septentrio, with a minority of states at the western end of Zernos, particularly near the Eastern White Coast. The Holy Qaddir Empire, although namely an empire, has yet to achieve an extent of political unification, it is more a decentralized, limited elective monarchy composed of hundreds of smaller states.

Valguric ancestry

(Ouf of date/WIP) The qaddirii depicted not themselves as rulers, nor did they seek for power or land owning. They see themselves as loyal servants of the faith, their devotion is to the Goddess of Creation, of whom they believe being direct descendants and who’s, according to the legends, been willing to sacrifice everything in order for the creation and salvation of Life, as it did in the past. Qaddirii created their own religion from it, and they lived to feed this worship among the goddess’ lands, following Valgus’ teachings.

Racial segregation

(Out of date/WIP) Qaddirii were determined in maintaining religion purity, their devotion is so strong that it is seen as if faith tramples all reason and freedom, especially in the eyes of the foreigner race that appeared to come break apart the steady flow, the mouns. These people did not follow the same footsteps of the qaddirii, having no or different godly relations they did not have the same insight as the zealously indoctrinated qaddirii. While qaddirii believed that they were set upon this world to proceed with the goddess’ teachings and cleanse it from impurities, mouns preferred to believe their fate was not to be bound to this feat but to be free and set their own rules and innovations and believe in what they might. A rift between these two people was inevitable, and so mouns were mostly outcasts in the already formed qaddir states.   For reasons of lack of knowledge of the exact origin of these people, some say mouns are qaddirii who have lost their purity and faith, thus abandoning their way and deity, others say it’s a completely distinct race that comes from abroad; in any case the two sides would find themselves most of the time in opposite ends. In the early years of the empire’s reestablishment, mouns were allowed to stay and have their own practices, although considered lower class citizens. It was not until later that the mouns were forced to convert. Mouns’ practices going in clash with qaddirii’s would upset qaddirii to the point of going out on a purge of the transgressors.
