SilverSilk

Brought by the Tjeladrin people, the SilverSilk is a shawl-like garment that somewhat reflects light. Producing one requires the use of secret sewing techniques, which the elven people don't ever think of sharing. Its fabrics are as resistant as chainmail, but much more light. Very few Elves sell their garments, they think that making too many of them would ruin their value. Rather, to prove their loyalty, Elves like to present their own hand-made SilverSilk.

Fashion Trends

Due to their low production, these garments have gained a lot of status. SilverSilk is quite popular in elegant parties, but some teens like to flaunt it at the burger shops. However, they are also useful for combat due to their excellent protective capabilites inspite of their weight. Most gangsters like to wear it below their cloths to be cautious.

The SilverSweater

Few Elves are capable of producing one of such size, but some of the very best craftsmen have made a full turtle-neck sweater of SilverSilk. It's usually worn only by the daughters of powerful people. They were either given as courtship or as a proof of complete loyalty towards their family.
