Personal history
Chester was born and raised in the rural areas of southern Ohio - he lived alone with just his mother and grandmother as his father had been estranged from the two of them. His early life on the whole had been rather mundane in comparison with the rest of his bandmates.
He'd been a fairly average student - never falling below a C but not getting the highest marks, he played football through high school but he wasn't one of the more notable players in the game, and he maintained a job as a grocery store shelver.
During a gap year before he was to go to the closest university to his hometown, this would change for him. He received an invitation to audition for a show being filmed in California - a show that was to be a modern re-imagining of a sort to a popular show from the 1960s that followed the high-jinx of a struggling band. Chester had gone for the audition and was later admitted through later audition processes with the other three boys that would make up the rest of the group. Due to the elder brother-like image that Chester gave off among the boys, Chester was selected to play the role as the group's leader in the show.
During the couple of years that the show went on and the members would go on to playing their own instruments and writing their own music, Chester would take on the responsibilities as the group's drummer, after being taught how to play them by his bandmate Virgil. He also took on the role as the group's lead vocalist. After the band dissolved and the show ended, Chester remained in California with his then-girlfriend and current wife, Mary, and his young son Daniel.
