St. Hargrim's Survival Charts

St. Hargrim's Survival Charts are an interesting mix of survival guide, early nutritional work, and recipe book.   St Hargrim was a dwarven monastic cleric who devoted the bulk of his monastic service to finding ways to keep people properly nourished and sustained while traveling through the wilderness.   The charts have an enormous collection of edible plants and animals catalogued in them as well as other things that one might find in the same area that make a more complete meal and poisonous things to avoid. Some of the recipes are amazingly delicious despite their limited ingredients list and will even appear on the tables of royalty, despite their humble origins.   The charts also contain what St. Hargrim called "semi-edibles" that may cause mild upset stomachs or have little or no nutritional value but could be used to bulk up a meal in an emergency.   And finally, the charts catalog an enormous variety of medicinal plants and how to harvest and use them for various ailments.

The book is considered to be property of the The Church of Holy Light and royalties for its publication flow back to the church. St. Hargrim himself died about 70 years after the initial publication.
