New World Express

For little under a year ago Louis Duvál, owner of the country's most successful trade organization, and probably one of the most powerful people in all of Plaisir, announced to many peoples surprise a brand new transportation route to what he had named "Nowy Monde", a land of great promise far to the east buried deep in the jungle. Many had heard rumours about his crazy experiments with the Maison Bricolage; most had dismissed them as foolishness and even mania. However, when standing on the true forefront of technology, in the presence of wonders, one often changes perspective. Louis Duvál had done the impossible; he had made ships fly in the air!
Of course, some had dabbled in lighter gasses and heat and some had even made money in transporting rich people great distances for even greater money. But nothing compared to this; this technology completely changes the game. In a few short years, Louis had managed to establish a small fleet of these great constructions and could now operate a business able to transport thousands of people and goods each month to this promised land. While still expensive compared to a good horse and cart, this was an opportunity, and with a little saving, an opportunity many people could afford.
As a personal sacrifice and commitment to his belief in this new great land, Louis has constructed a great building in the centre of this new world, established this as his personal residence, and centre of his own Maison, Château Duvál. This building will function as the centre around which a new Capital will be constructed out of the treacherous and dangerous jungle. There are sure to lie many treasures and opportunities with the secrets of this ancient and expansive jungle, but probably also just as many dangers. This challenge is not for the faint of heart; only the most skilled, brave and adventurous people of Plaisir have what it takes... Naiveté and a grain of stupidity probably does not hurt either. Which is where you guys come in! After many months of hard work, you have finally managed to scrape enough money together for the cheapest and most lousy one-way ticket available. With not much more than the clothes on your backs and a foolish dream in your stomach you look adventure straight in the eyes and tread onboard Maison Duváls "New Wold Express"!
