The Inter-Galactic Alliance of Dökarian States

The Svart'ar are often seen as lesser than their Vanir cousins, in no small part due to the Vanir's pretentious attitude and sugarcoating of history. However, the Inter-Galactic Alliance of Dokarain Stated (often called the IGADS) exists to aid Svart'arian countries in galactic politics and spread a better image of the Svart'ar as a whole.

Structure

The Inter-Galactic Allience of Dokarain States is lead by a council composed of a single delegate from each member nation. This council makes diplomatic desicions between the states, decides trade routes, monitors the member nations, and send a delegate to the Council of the Ten Realms. Beyond this, the Council will sometimes send diplomats to other organizations and countries, choosing them from the personal staff of each delegate.

The goals of the IGADS are simple: To aid, equalize, and spread knowldege of the Svart'arian people, nations, and their plight.

Assets

The Alliance has an incredibly diverse set of assets, from those of several nations: Novlar, The Tribe of Ivaldi, and Svartalheim to name a few. The Alliance has control of over approximately 30,000 Combat-Agumeneted Njord Skyfarers of Class III or higher, along 60+ Mass Cariers Skyfarers, and over 250,000 troops, and the weapons and gear to arm them. In addition, The Alliance has a combined economic might equal to that of a major nation (such as New Alfheim), and access to a incredible amount of untapped natural resources.

History

The Alliance has a history of both peace and conflict - the latter mostly with Vanir-aligned states. Some notable incidents are listed below.

Founding: 58 IY

The Alliance was formed in the 58th Intergalactic Year, in opposition to increased Vanir presence on other planets. The original mission was to stop the propagation of anti-Svart'ar propraganda, and provide a milatary alliance between Svart'arain states, including those outside of Dokar.

Battle of Fjalar: 91 IY

Due to increased Vanir presence on the Vlahenian moon of Fjalar (legally colonized by Novlar), several combat-agumented spacecraft were sent to provide security of Novlar control. However, The Indepenedant Kvasian Republic mistoke this as a sign of aggression, and launched their own ships in retalation, with orders to attack. This became this first instance of space warfare, with the Alliance barely coming out on top. Because of this, the Kvas-Dokar treaty was formed, creating peace between the Republic and the Alliance.

Kemetian Alliance: 112 IY

In the year 112 IY, a political and economic alliance was formed with the House of Kemet , in preparation to the rising tensions between the Kemet people and several Greecan states, who were in alliance with Alfheim, the Independent Kvasain Republic, and Teotihuacan. However, this tension died down due to the actions of the Galactic Council, but this alliance still remains to this day.
