Mayble's Guide To Vampires

The hauflin Mayble Teadrinker is the granddaughter of well-known paranormal investigators Quarlton and Kara Teadrinker, and the twin sister of Chazrael Teadrinker, who’s becoming a name in the monster hunting world. Vampire blood is in her veins so to speak as the Teadrinkers are a noble vampire family from the Northern fey court, and Quarlton was a dhampir.   Growing up, Mayble received training from her grandmother, as well as access to Kara’s resources and information. Young Mayble and Chazrael devoured Kara’s texts and other information. She added to her knowledge from various cases during her career. At 40 years old, with over 100 cases under her belt, Mayble decided to pen the guide “Mayble’s Guide to Vampires.”   The book provides insight into the different vampires found in Pinegaard, including the Van Radmers, the Blood Helms, the Grums of the Vulcanmines, and the Strife Family. She also sheds light into her family history, tracing The Teadrinker family history to Oxnard Teadrinker, who became the first vampire of the family when a dearga, a fey vampire, turned him during a quest.   She also has information on orders, like the Bloodcross Order, whom she encountered with her friend, the dhampir dragonkin Duke Teadrinker.   The book also focuses on various incidents involving vampires from Pinegaard’s past, such as the brief civil war between vampire families, and the conflict with Seymor Archibold.   Mayble also gives insight into how to identify vampires by their characteristics. Most tips mirror common knowledge about the undead. However, Mayble also wrote protective spells and runes for readers to use in their homes.   Mayble also shields light on vampires who are friendly and where to find them. Hidden in the pages are locations of vampire sanctuaries.   Mayble said she plans to write a second volume of the book when she retires from monster hunting.
