Session 21: A Bug in a Jar is Worth a Swarm in the Sack
General Summary
Umbral Hulk: big bipedal spidey bois with two sets of eyes: one for vision and one for crowd control. Hits three times in a row
We looted the Dyad members we ambushed: 150gp, bracelet w/ "Glanna" engraved inside the band, a bag of holding, decorated dagger with gold hilting and on the pommel there's an ivory carving of a bare chested lady, and a scroll (yet to be deciphered)
Also, one of the dead Dyads had a wiggly wyrm that’s still alive; we trapped it in a jar
Umbral hulk loot: 1 big piece (front left center) and 3 small pieces of carapace
We take a short rest and Krathag uses Speak With Animals to scout the enemy nest. A small bird points out a large clearing in the forest to the north.
We attempt to be stealthy with Miranro rolling nattys on perception
With baddies nearby, we open the 2nd bag of holding. It is full of wiggly worms, some vellum, and something shiny.
3 more umbral hulks ambush us, trying to pull us underground
After the battle, Miranro sees figures to the north, moving toward us at a fast pace
