Gnomish Music Box

A mysterious construction of unknown Gnomish origin. Currently wielded by Elgin.

• Requires attunement to use.
• To attune with this item, the user must be proficient in Charisma (Performance) and have at least one level in Bard.
• The Gnomish Music Box may be used as a finesse ranged weapon. Its range is 60/120 feet. On a hit, it deals 1d6 Force damage. When attacking with the Gnomish Music Box, add 1 to attack rolls and damage rolls.
• Charisma (Performance) checks made using the Gnomish Music Box are always given advantage.
• As an action, a creature attuned to this item may make a special performance check (DC 20) with the Gnomish Music Box. On a success, choose any number of friendly creatures that can hear you; they receive Bardic Inspiration of D# (as appropriate to your Bard level) on their next skill check or saving throw within one minute. This does not subtract uses from your normal pool of Bardic Inspiration dice. This can only be attempted once per long rest.
