The population has been on a steady decline since the civil war. William Waylond assumes that it's because people are so afraid of the nation falling apart again, that they don't want to have kids in a nation where that's a possibility.
Military
Has a small armed forces, only as few as the Emperor will allow. The King wants a civil war to not be possible to happen again.
Foreign Relations
Historically close with the other northern nations, Swansleich included. Minor tensions with Dal Riada have arisen lately though over the winter isle. Strained relations with the 21 Republics, however. They are often seen as subservient to Camulus, as well.
Infrastructure
Poor infrastructure, most travelling is done on boats up the Pike River.
