Each kingdom was made to deploy their own basic levy, and kill all Needless soldiers they had purchased. Then the Imperial Armed Forces would deploy to make sure the job was done correctly.

Outcome

Short term, it was a patriotic and exciting victory, as no soldiers were killed, and next to none were injured.

Aftermath

It was a major blow the political power of many Republics, causing a large power vaccuum which Hartvald quickly filled.

Historical Significance

Legacy

This was effectively the total extermination of the Needless, as Dr. Kasparov was dead, and no more could be created. This secured peace, as once again the balance of power was in the favour of the emperor, as it still is.
