Inifinity AI

There is a belief among some people that the human body and most importantly mind is to weak for the modern world. The belief that all the problems of the modern world would go away if we give way for a more advanced "being". This is the inifinty AI. An ever evolving AI, far superior to all current minds. The ultimate intelligence.
The hope of Infinity AI followers is to create this AI. They gather in "Infinity tanks" to code and perfect this AI. So far they have not succeeded but according to themselves they get closer and closer each day.
A subset of the followers believe that in order to achieve this we need to upload ourselves and abandon our fleshy bodies completely. These are generally viewed as extremist and are not always welcome in the "Infinity tanks".

Structure

Infinity AI lack any clear leader. Instead they have "Sourcers". A sourcers job is to lead a "Infinity tank". There are many of these tanks all throughout the city. Some are small, spanning just a few people in an apartment somewhere but there are also way bigger ones that can include hundreds of people.
Infinity tanks often work together, often being assigned a specific task each. Some tanks choose to break off to do their own thing. This often happens when a tank feels that they don't get the respect they deserve or a sourcer have a falling out with another one, resulting in one of them being forced to leave.

Culture

Tankers can usually go ahead and live the life they want and still be accepted by rest of society. They often hang out at clubs or bars late in to the morning and not uncommon to see them sleeping until late in the day. Tankers can sometime struggle to understand people who do not share their belief and therefor often tend to date only other tankers.
Uploaders, being the more extreme variant often lack empathy toward other people, even sometimes tankers themselves. They see their human bodies as temporary things meant to be thrown away, therefor they usually don't care much about dating or making friendships. Unlike tankers they tend to spend less time socializing and often are only seen outside their tanks when they need to buy food or other necessities.

Assets

Infinity AI owns several buildings throughout the city. All from small apartments to big venues. One of the most famous Infinity tanks is located in the Sivoda office complex. Most of their riches are from donations of from coding side jobs. They have some of the best coders at hand and can therefor offer premium services for corporations that may need them.
They also own a few bars and clubs throughout the city which are very openly used to recruit new members or secure funds. In these clubs only AI created music is played. Their biggest club is X-12
Infinity AI does not care much about weapons or security personnel. Almost all that are a part of Infinity AI is a tanker, very little other personnel exist.

Divine Origins

Starting in the early to middle 2000 more and more people got fed up with the world leaders and strived to see a change. However for every good leader there seemed to be five bad. A changed was needed. Creating an AI that would serve the people and guide us forward would be a much wiser decision according to the followers of Infinity AI.
Infinity tanks started forming all around the world. Coders got together and started working on atleast trying to create the ultimate AI, an AI that would evolve itself past our limitations.

Cosmological Views

Some tankers do believe that we live in a simulation or even that we all are some form of AI already. However, this is not an uncommon belief even outside the tankers. Most followers do still believe that we were created by evolution following the big bang. A few still even believe in old religions and their creation theories. All beliefs are welcome as long as it does not clash with the belief in the AI.

Worship

Code, code and code. Dedicate your life to improving the AI. Very few rituals other than that exist. Certain tanks can take on some form of rituals before starting to work in the day but these are more of a localized tradition.

Priesthood

Sourcers guide tankers in their coding and focus to keep improving the AI. They are more like managers rather than priest in the historical sense.

Sects

Uploaders as they often are called belive that we should forego our human bodies all together and completely merge with the AI. They often still exist with the tanks, as their belief at least at this stage does not conflict with the belief of the tankers. The most extreme ones are sometimes kicked out however. Some leave willingly and start their own tanks.
