Blue district

The blue district is not an actual proper district. It is instead a smaller area inside of Downtown . It is called the blue district for two reasons. First is that the SkyMall is here with it's massive blue logo floating around it making the entire area coated in a blue hue. Second is that people who live here is blue themselves, as in depressed. This is more of a abstract interpretation of the name however.
Blue district is not an offical name what so ever, but it is common for people to say something along the lines of "it is in the blue..." when describing a place that is here.
Due to the shopping mall and the blue color it makes this area very unattractive for housing. So the apartments here go for a lot less than apartments surrounding it. This has also led to the "Blue district" being one of the more crime ridden areas of downtown.
