The Deep Ocean

The deep ocean is a term for the deep parts of the ocean, it is completely dark and barely explored. The deep ocean is home to many gigantic animals, like abyssal leviathans, and emperor whales.
The Explorer's Guild has set up a few deep ocean research bases, which can only be accessed by submarines. The deep ocean floor is like another world, most plants and animals down there glow. Animals in the deep ocean seem to grow far larger than animals higher up in the ocean, and there are many animals that walk along the ocean floor instead of swimming.
