Steppe mammoth

steppe mammoths are the third largest land animal in the midlands, only surpassed by the Arctic Serpent and Earth Serpent in size. They resemble Mammoths, although they are far larger, they also have an extra pair of tusks extending out of the lower jaw, unlike mammoths that have only one pair of tusks.

Domestication

Steppe mammoths are very hard to tame due to their size, but some people have managed to tame some, although this is very rare, the giants however can tame them far more easily and commonly use them as mounts and to haul heavy loads.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Steppe mammoths are most commonly found in Arctus and the great steppe that runs along Panthea. There is also a smaller population living in Shigir.
