Rain Shelter

Rain Shelter is a Merindian city in Ungala.

History

Rain Shelter's history began in 810 when an expedition made up of 3 large airships that crashed a bit inland in Ungala. The survivors of the crashes founded a small community to survive until they were rescued, they chose the name Rain Shelter simply because it at first mainly served as a shelter against the heavy rainfall on Ungala. When more people came to rescue them they found that they had crashed in a great location for a city that would serve as a good home base for further expansion into Ungala. In honour of the great efforts of the survivors who founded Ungala, the three most important buildings were built into the crashed hulls of the fallen airships.
