Hyberian civilization

The Hyberian civilization was a civilization that existed in south west Arctus from the year -2,120 to -1,700.   the Hyberian civilization formed in -2,120. The Hyberian civilization was originally made up of humans who had been banished from Borea, and travelled north and settled in the forests of south-west Arctus. The Hyberians did something that had never been done before or since, united humans and giant together. This union ended up leading to the average citizen of Hyberia being human/giant hybrids, with the size and strength of the giants, and social brain of humans. This lead to Hyberia prospering, mastering their environment, expanding far across the north, taming arctic Mammoths, and building glorious palaces and temples as a symbol of their glory. They Hyberian golden age lasted for 300 years, from -2,000 to -1,700. This golden age came to an end after an insane king became the ruler of Hyberia. This king hated the giants, and divided humans and giants, and because the alliance between humans and giant were the bedrock of the Hyberian civilization, The mad king destroyed the Hyberian civilzation. Once they had fallen, the half giant Hyberians left their homeland, and the giants took over the north half of the former Hyberian lands, and humans took the south.   The Hyberians became very skilled in Magic, they had many powerful Magic runes which they used frequently. They created many libraries that chronicled their history, mythology and stories. They created huge chambers which held their greatest secrets, and sealed them away with magic runes and puzzles, some of which are still unopened still today.
