giant river constrictor

Giant river constrictors are a massive species of snake native to the jungles of northern Shandir that are 110 feet (33.5 meters) long on average, making them some of the largest snakes in the world.   Giant river constrictors live in swamps, rivers and lakes. They move slowly and clumsily across hard land, but they move much easier through the water. These great serpents use their cover of water to hunt by ambushing large animals. Giant river snake constricotrs hunt by hiding close to the water's surface near the edge of bodies of water like swamps, lakes, and most commonly rivers. Once an animal comes to the snake's water water, it ambushes it's prey, then constricts and bites it to death. Giant river snakes will eat almost anything, from elephants to rhinos and even humans.

Interactions With Humans

In modern times, giant river constrictors have been greatly feared by explorers journeying into the jungles of Cocar seeking knowledge. One of the only reliable ways to get deep into Cocar's jungles is by taking a boat down the rivers, and the giant river constrictors are commonly found in rivers, they have made travel into the region very difficult and dangerous.
