galnon

Galnons are medium sized herbivores native to the Southern Continents.

Description

Galnon have an average height of 6 feet (1.8 meters). They have hoofed feet and long legs that support bodies that are similarly in shape to mountain goats and are entirely covered in thick white fur. Galnon have beards on their chins and on the top of their heads there are two long and pointy horns. These horns are straight and very sharp, the length of galnon horns is normally around 3 feet (0.9 meters). Another notable feature of the galnon is their striking red eyes which stand out among the rest of their bodies which are white/grey.

Behavior

Galnon live in large herds of tens of thousands of animals, and migrate up and down the Southern Continent they live on, in a similar fashion to how latifrons migrate. When faced with predators, galnon will form a wall around their young and put their heads down, facing their horns forward and forming a deadly wall of sharp horns.
