Balkon

Balkon is a city in Merindia that is the source of much of the Merindian Empire's weapon and munition production, as well as a large amount of their armoured ground vehicles and body armour. Much of the buildings and transport of Balkon is armoured, and prepared for war.

Defences

Balkon is even more well defended than Skappra, being in a genius defensive position, surrounded by cliffs and having 3 layers of thick, armoured walls further protecting the city. The city is also surrounded by a mote with tall draw bridges going over them and providing access to the city. The gates of the city are made of several feet of solid steel, and these gates can only be moved by the powerful engines that can move them across their heavy rails. The 3 walls are all very thick and have massive cannons and anti-air guns places all along them. Similarly to Skappra, there are railways running from the walls to the center of the city where there are munitions factories that can supply the walls cannons with guns. There are also walls going between the walls that divide the cities into easily defensible sections and allow railways to go to the outer walls.

Infrastructure

Balkon has many railways, with rail trolleys providing public transportation around the city, and there are also a very large number of railways running from the city to fortresses and walls across Merindia. The trains in the city and running out of it are all armoured and armed.

Architecture

Balkon uses the same architecture as the other cities in Merindia, but with a more focus on being strong and defendable.
