  • Single-minded, determined and focussed, decisive; but brash and incautious, and doesn't always consider all the impacts of his actions. Definitely capable of planning and patience, however.
  • Idolises old Caracar somewhat (a family legacy)
  • somewhat oblivious to the moods of others.

  • Cool iron-meteorite (Muonionalusta) texture

  • What does he look like? hooved legs (good at climbing), horns?
  • What infusion(s) in his family? Ibex - but to what extent? maybe detail his brothers and their adventures/abilities - climbing? living in terrifying precipitous houses?
  • What physical weakness/dependence does he have? Sinks/can't swim/reacts to water?
  • Deyos tribe is not nomadic enough to wander to the giteri - how does he get there? Leaves to seek his fortune?

Special abilities

Deyoctrun has mastered a unique and powerful meteor magic – he can find fragments of skymetal, "absorb" them, and then use that mass to create meteors that fall from the sky, both smashing stuff up and carrying useful cargo.   His constructs tend to be relatively crude, plain or roughly-hewn - good enough to get the job done in the simplest way possible, rather than over-engineered. they are frequently semi-organic in appearance and molten/shape-changing/self-assembling.   properties of items he creates that can be manipulated:
  • shape
  • strength/flexibility/texture - from spring-like to iron-hard to fabric-soft to liquid
  • mobility, and ability to imbue speed and force
  • heat
  • luminosity
  • sounds/resonances
  Example items:
  • Golem/elementals/creatures of various shapes or sizes
  • Steeds/chariots
  • "artillery" that shoots solid or liquid projectiles that may be heated or unheater - a jet of molten metal being common (inspired by Molomet jungle hummingbirds.
  • tools and weaponry, which can be tremendously strong and also imbue great speed or impact - for example, smashing warhammers or boots that allow huge and extremely fast leaps.
  • Shelter/buildings
  • Tools and items that produce heat or light or sound
  Limitations:
  • Upper limit on volume of metal he has so far absorbed – several tonnes worth, enough to form a solid cube 2 metres to a side.
  • unable to imitate chemical properties, colours, or non-metallic textures.
  • Speed of arrival – depending on size and complexity of item, and the speed of impact, can take between minutes and hours to arrive – and varies over time as material "orbits" overhead.
  • Largest impact can destroy large buildings/small city blocks.
  Abilities:
  • Well-studied in a wide variety of fields
  • Pretty competent (and very energetic) fighter – uses a wide variety of (summoned) weapons, but defaults to a Trident (which he trained with in Rithnidloi at a student society) or a hammer (which carries tremendous impact force).

Apparel & Accessories

always carries the following two skymetal items:
  • smallish mallet that strikes like a falling tree, for quick defense and also general tool-use
  • boots that enable him to leap with great speed over large distances.

Personal history

History:
  • Born to the Nessego, a Framca-speaking nomadic tribe in the northwestern Srem.
  • Infused with sky-metal while playing as a child at one of their regular stopping points – an old meteor crater that acts as a dew trap.
  • Naturally gifted and curious, he left to attend university in Rithnidloi as a young teen (both the nomad tribe and the Bell swarm being near the western Giteri/Sigmenod area at the time). There, he studied Comparative Essences and met and befriended Ghellim. Contrast between wealth of backgrounds.
  • As an adult, becomes a well-respected academic who travels the world researching and investigating many different matters, particularly studying strange locales/landscapes (as well as collecting meteor material).
  • At some point, meets and partners with Frin.
  • Base of operations (with Frin) is distant to the Reach – where?
