Rage wolf
A wolf, controlled by a red parasite called a rage.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Looks like an average wolf, except for the red fungus growing on its back. Many extra limbs or tendrils have been grown onto the body of the poor wolf.
Biological Traits
A wolf of any kind with a large red oozeish parasite growing on its back, and augmentations of the same material all over its body.
Genetics and Reproduction
The rage wolf cannot reproduce, and when its body fails, it will leave no descendants as it is consumed by the parasite that took it over. The rage itself however, will just move onto its next host.
Growth Rate & Stages
When the rage takes over the wolf's body, it will be a different size depending on how long it has been alive and how many hosts it has taken over and consumed. As the wolf part of the creature eats, the parasite grows larger, and augments the wolf's body even more, making it more powerful.

Anywhere that hasn't been able to keep rage infections out of its area.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The rage wolf will eat anything that is made of organic materials (eg animals, humanoids, plants), as its primary objective in life is to grow the rage ever larger.
Biological Cycle
As time passes and the wolf eats more, the rage will grow larger, and the wolf's augmentations more powerful. The rage has no need for sleep, shelter or hibernation and so it drives the wolf onwards, ignoring its pitiful howls.

Rage wolves hunt alone, and if another rage infested creature were to enter their territory, the two would immediately fight, as each rage would want to leap at the opportunity to gain the equivalent of several, if not hundreds of host periods.
Domestication
Never. Ever. If you try to domesticate them, you would be dead before you could name them, let alone tell them to "SIT!".

None, it is a pest, if not a highly dangerous animal.

The wolf will look like a normal wolf, save for the rage augmentations, but the rage will look different every time as it will have grown in different conditions.

Literally anywhere that there isn't strict rage watch rules.

Not sapient (as far as we know), but with a higher intelligence than any other non-rage infested animal.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
It sees as normal, through its eyes. This wouldn't be such a problem if it didn't have tens of extra ones grown by the rage.
Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms
This whole animal is a parasite attached to a wolf. However, it is most definitely not a symbiotic relationship as the wolf loses all free will and is simply a vessel for the rage.
