Sanguit Stones
There is a large river that comes down from the Rucsui Mountiains and flows through the entire kingdom into Lake Felroth. This river is called the Truass River and is named after the von Trauss family. This river is the capital city is near and is the only river with Sanguit Stones.
These stones vary in color based on the year, season, and location they form. Sanguit Stones come from the Rucsui Mountains and have a rare trait of amplifying or refining a person's magic. The color determines what it is used for.
The most common color is pale red stones that are opaque and average from the size of an acorn to the size of an adult's hand. These stones, while still expensive are common for anyone with money. Many wealthy commoners are able to buy one at least once a year. These stones amplify magic for a varying amount of time and amount. The size and opacity determine how long it can be used. The purest stones appear a dark red that is barely transparent and can last up to 5-7 years if used conservatively. The common stones last people from 3 months to a year depending on the person's usage. Magic outside of daily use and fighting has lost its appeal and alchemy and the works are dying out, but these stones are vital for creating large magical spells or charms that require more magic than a person or group has.
Other colors have different effects and the rarest color is a silver/gray color. It is both incredibly rare and hard to find since it blends in well with rocks and the river's reflection. These silver stones have only been found a handful of times throughout history and are the only artifacts in the world that can give a person magic. For someone with magic already, it can enhance their magical power indefinitely or give them another affinity. For the Blanks with no magic, these stones gift them with power to gain a magic affinity.
Blue stones create clarity in the mind and purple stones increase magical precision.
