Kingdom of Gurilia

Crown
The Kingdom of Gurilia is an ancient kingdom on the northern coast of Ovion. It borders the Kingdom of Cardoron and the republic of Tontegode to the south. To the east it borders the Kingdom of Ance with the river of Ithef between them.   The First king and creator of the Kingdom of Gurilia was Theyafane Lambard. He and his descendents ruled the kingdom during the Era of King's. Gurilia was before the formation of the kingdom split in many smaller counties and dutchies. However Theyafane "the Tall" with deplomacy managed to unite them during his rule. This was only possible because of raids from the Tronish, a people of the north east. They failed and instead decided to head to the Kingdom/Dutchy of Old Modenia and invaded it instead.   Theyafanes line however ended with the arrival of a plauge which raveged the northern kingdoms, killing many including King Garberad Lambard. Many kings arose after this many claiming to be of Theyafanes blood, but it was not until the year of 693 which a woman appeard. This woman asked for this "civil war" to stop. The Gurilians listend and because she made them see that this wouldn't end until a new ruler was chosen. They decided that men was not meant to wear the crown of Gurilia, instead a woman should wear it. And since then a Queen has ruled. The first was the woman that asked for peace. Her name was Johanna Jhonette. She ruled as Queen Johanna Peacebringer and after her her daughter Jora and after her her daughter Jennefer.   The Current ruler is Queen Johanna II Jhonette, she is known for her beauty and is said to be the most desirable ruler in all of Ovion. And one of the king's to the south King Peuppét de Rougegard is said to have his eye's on her.
